RESERVATIONS:

All reservations require a credit card at the time of booking to guarantee the room.


Lodge Room Deposits: A deposit equal to 50% of the reservation (before tax and Resort Fee) will be taken at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be collected 30 days prior to arrival for Summer stays (June – September) and 7 days prior to arrival for Fall/Winter/Spring stays (October -May). Reservations made within that remaining balance timeframe will require full payment at the time of booking.


Ranch House Deposits: A deposit equal to 50% of the reservation (before tax and Resort Fee) will be taken at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be collected 30 days prior to arrival, regardless of season. Reservations made within that remaining balance timeframe will require full payment at the time of booking.


Lodge Room Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival for Summer stays (June – September) will receive a refund minus a 5% cancellation fee on the deposit. Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival for Fall/Winter/Spring stays (October -May) will receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled past the cancellation window are ineligible for a refund.


Ranch House Cancellations: Cancellations for full Ranch Houses must be made 30 days prior to arrival in order to receive a refund, minus a 5% cancellation fee on the deposit. Ranch House reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival are ineligible for a refund.


All reservations are subject to an 8% Montana lodging tax.


Sage Lodge has a Resort Fee of $35 per room per night which includes in-room Nespresso® coffee, daily staff-led activities, outdoor gear and equipment rental, fly fishing on our pond, stocked laundry facilities, and WiFi. Guests must be 18 or older to check in.


Lodge stays between Memorial Day and September 30 require a two-night minimum stay.

Ranch House stays between May 1 and October 31 require a three-night minimum stay.


Yes, we have multiple ADA rooms: Lodge King, Lodge Double Queen, Lodge Deluxe King, Lodge Paradise King, and Ranch House King Suite. Learn more about our ADA room features.

Please contact the website where your original reservation was created to make changes to your stay. These changes will then be reflected in our system.


GENERAL:

Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00pm.

Sage Lodge is approximately one hour from Bozeman International Airport (BZN). Please call us at 855.400.0505 to inquire about preferred shuttle partners. For car rentals, please contact our preferred partner, GoRentals, at bzn@gorentals.com to inquire about exclusive Sage Lodge guest rates.


WiFi is available and is complimentary.


We have multiple self-parking lots on the property. We currently do not offer valet services.


Dogs are welcome at Sage Lodge as part of our Pooch Paradise program for a non-refundable fee of $75 per stay. Dog-friendly rooms are limited and based on availability, so advance reservations are required. There is a maximum of two dogs per room. We happily welcome four-legged guests without weight, height, or breed restrictions.


Yes, we happily offer pet-free rooms to those with allergies.


We would be happy to store your luggage for you at the front desk.


All lodge rooms have queen pullout sleeper sofas to accommodate additional guests. Portable cribs are available for use free of charge.

AMENITIES:

Our fitness center is open 24 hours a day and has a treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, weight bench, and free weights.

We do not have a formal business center; however, there are numerous spaces across the property available for remote working with your own equipment.


There is not a pool on the property; however, we have a main hot tub for lodge guests, as well as a private hot tub for the Ranch Houses. The Spa also has a private hot tub.


Yes, The Spa at Sage Lodge is open for guests and the general public. For hours and treatment menus, please visit The Spa section of our website. Appointments can be made by calling 406.823.4009.


The minimum age for Spa treatments and facility use is 18.


DINING:

Yes, we offer room service from the Fireside Room between the hours of 7am- 9pm.


The Fireside Room is open seven days a week from 8am to 9pm. The Grill is re-opening for dinners in May 2021.

Yes, we offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options on our menus and will also customize menu offerings due to dietary restrictions.


Dinner reservations are required for dinner in the Fireside Room and The Grill. Reservations for other meal periods are always welcomed, especially during the busy summer months.


Yes, we offer takeout from the Fireside Room. Please call us at 855.400.0505 to inquire about available items from the current menus.


THINGS TO DO:

There are numerous iconic attractions near Sage Lodge. The north entrance of Yellowstone National Park is just 35 minutes away, which is open year-round. The Yellowstone River runs right on our lower property, famous for world-class fly fishing, rafting, and kayaking. The charming small town of Livingston is 30 minutes north, with dining, shopping, and art attractions.


While Sage Lodge is in a more remote Montana location, the following dining options are available in the area: Chico Hot Springs, Emigrant Old Saloon, Follow ‘Yer Nose BBQ (seasonal) & Wildflour Bakery (seasonal).


The Emigrant General Store is just two miles away and offers basic groceries and necessities for the area. For more robust shopping options, stop in Livingston or Gardiner on your way to Sage Lodge.


MEETINGS & EVENTS:

We have over 9,000 square feet of meeting and event space in our “Event Barn”, capable of hosting rustic and elegant weddings, corporate retreats, business meetings, or any other gathering you can think of.
