Bridger Bowl, located just an hour from Sage Lodge, offers four large bowls and is suitable for all levels of difficulty. Round up your family and friends and gear up for a fun-filled, self-guided day of adventure. Transportation and rentals are not included.

Discover paradise out your back door. Sign up for a hike with one of our guides and explore the 1,200 acres of paradise that Sage Lodge calls home. Our onsite hike offers opportunities to identify native plants and flowers, catch a glimpse of local wildlife and birds, and to take in the breathtaking view of Paradise Valley. Add in a picnic lunch for a full day excursion.

Enjoy a guided hike on the Sage Lodge property with friendly llamas by your side. Order a to-go wilderness picnic from the lodge, and have the llamas carry all your food and gear. With a lighter load, this llama day hike will provide you with a refreshed perspective on all that nature has to offer.

Embark on a romantic evening or a fun-filled family affair, with our friendly llamas carrying chef-selected tapas, Sage Lodge Brut, and sparkling & still water, to be enjoyed next to a peaceful rippling creek out on the Sage Lodge property. After your hike out and back with these furry friends by your side, return back to the lodge at sunset with a new-found love for nature and Paradise Valley.

Yellowstone Llama Trek
See Yellowstone National Park the way early explorers first witnessed this beautiful area—by hitting the trail on foot. These day trips will usually include hiking 2-3 miles of hiking with llamas to a beautiful lunch spot for a wilderness picnic. A very nice snack bar lunch will be provided, as well as soft drinks.

Yellowstone Llama Trek
with Fishing Guide
Hit the trail on foot and explore the fabled trout streams of the world's oldest national park with a professional fly fishing guide to take you to the best spots. Up to 3 anglers per fishing guide. All anglers must purchase a Yellowstone National Park fishing permit and have it in their possession while fishing. Fly fishing only. These day trips will usually include 2-3 miles of hiking, with llamas to carry your gear to your chosen fishing location and a beautiful lunch spot for a wilderness picnic. A nice snack bar lunch will be provided, as well as soft drinks. For those looking to wet a line on a blue ribbon stream, most of our itineraries follow different tributaries for excellent fly fishing. Up to 3 anglers per fishing guide. All anglers must purchase a Yellowstone National Park fishing permit and have it in their possession while fishing. Fly fishing only.

FULL-DAY RAFTING
Everything you are looking for is on our 18-mile, full-day rafting trip, where you will experience class I, II, and III rapids. Ten miles in, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch, on what we aptly call Lunch Island. After lunch, we surge on to Yankee Jim Canyon, where the rest of the trip takes place in this narrow canyon with exciting rapids. Price includes transportation to and from Sage Lodge.

HALF-DAY RAFTING
Our two-hour whitewater trip is great for those who may not have time to spend all day on the river. It is great for families with children 40 lbs. and up. Enjoy a splendid mixture of rapids and calm floating sections to appease every adventure level. Price includes transportation to and from Sage Lodge.

Starting in Gardiner, MT, our guide will expertly row your raft down the Yellowstone River, avoiding major rapids and splashing through some mild rapids to cool you off. Bring your waterproof camera to ensure you capture every moment of your tour. It is not uncommon to see wildlife such as Osprey, geese, deer and maybe even an eagle!
